Research Interests
Yudi is a student of political theory with a focus on democratic theory and feminist theories. Their dissertation project studies feminist thoughts in contemporary China and inquires into how Chinese feminism can bring persepctives to debates on subjectivity and subject formation in political theory.

Yudi had also learned classical piano for 10 years since 5 years old. She regretfully discontinued her training in piano due to challenges common to women when they grow into teenagers. This experience taught Yudi the volunerability of inidividual aspirations to structural injustice. It has also became an important source that drives her to protect her work in political theory which she sees as a second career that life kindly gives her.
