Logan Puck wins Fulbright

July 17, 2013

Politics doctoral candidate Logan Puck won a Fulbright award to support dissertation field research he will undertake in Mexico during the 2013-14 academic year.

Puck, who advanced to candidacy in June 2013, will study the private security industry in Mexico City and other areas. The purpose of his project is to understand how the rapidly growing ranks of private security guards interact with regular police forces, and what it means for this core state function to become so extensively outsourced.

Warm congratulations!
