Description
Introduces themes of Chinese politics from 1949 to present, including: the establishment and substantial dismantling of socialism; movements and upheavals, such as the Cultural Revolution and 1989; and issues, such as Tibet and Taiwan. Surveys current institutions, leaders, and policies. (Formerly China.)
